Four Chiefs who helped their roster case vs. Packers
By KC Proctor
4. Matt Bushman
The Chiefs’ tight end depth is truly a bottomless well. Travis Kelce is the best to ever do it, Blake Bell is the son of Chiefs’ royalty, the Noah Gray project is coming along nicely, and Jody Fortson is an absolute DOG.
It was Matt Bushman who stole the show on Thursday though when he hauled in two touchdown passes from Shane Buchele.

Coming from out of nowhere, Bushman, a former BYU standout, put together an effort in the final hour of the preseason that may very well have earned him a spot on the 53-man roster.
Throughout the preseason, Andy Reid has deployed 13 personnel in the red zone, and if he plans to utilize the tight ends in such a persistent manner this year, keeping depth at the position will be essential.
Matt Bushman showing up and randomly scoring two touchdowns may or may not result in him suiting up on Sundays this year, but it damn sure makes for some tough decisions come Tuesday. Daurice Fountain, Josh Gordon, and Cornell Powell are all going to be losing some sleep this weekend.
