Matt Verderame and Patrick Allen break down what to watch for in the Kansas City Chiefs preseason opener against the Chicago Bears.

The Kansas City Chiefs are back!

The Chicago Bears are the first team on the schedule, and while this is only a preseason exhibition with results that will end up meaningless in terms of the team’s overall success (or lack of it) for the coming season, it still feels great to have our favorite team back for another year and know that football is now predictably on the schedule in front of us for the next few months.

So what should we be watching for in the preseason? What does this first game tell us? What position battles are most ripe for competition early, and what are some things that Andy Reid and his staff will be looking for?

The good news is that we have you completely covered for the preseason opener for the Chiefs with our latest podcast episode. Join host Matt Verderame as he returns from vacation to catch up on all things Chiefs with co-host Patrick Allen. Find out what Patrick and Matt will be looking for in this week’s preseason game against the Chicago Bears.
