Harrison Butker

Kicker Harrison Butker has been trending negatively amongst kickers since 2019, but he continues to be a popular pick amongst the league’s top kickers. Do not make the same mistake as others.

Do not be confused, Butker is a solid kicker when called upon. He made 25 field goals on 30 attempts, with a 95.9% extra-point conversion rate. But, those makes and attempts rank around the league average, far from ideal for a fantasy kicker. While Butker converts, he does not have the volume for a top fantasy kicker, like Baltimore’s Justin Tucker or Buffalo’s Tyler Bass.

Butker is a trendy pick for 2022, with an average draft position in the top five for kickers. He has finished outside the top-10 amongst kickers in 2020 and 2021, which does not offer much statistical backup.

Kickers can be a week-to-week move, depending on the matchup and league. But, if it is the difference between picking a sleeper FLEX option and Butker, go with the FLEX and figure out the kicker later.
