#35 Jaylen Watson

College: Washington State
Years Pro: Rookie (23 years old)
Chance of Making the Roster: Practice Squad Candidate

Throughout the predraft process, the Chiefs made it no secret that they were interested in Jaylen Watson. He is a big, raw, and talented player that will likely show big improvement with some NFL coaching and training. At this point in time, it seems unlikely that Watson steals a roster spot in year one, but he will certainly get an opportunity. He will be a prime candidate for the practice squad if he is not ready to take on NFL talent this season.

#23 Joshua Williams

College: Fayetteville State
Years Pro: Rookie (22 years old)
Chance of Making the Roster: High

As the second corner taken in their draft class, Kansas City opted to take Joshua Wilson with their 4th round pick. Coming from Fayetteville State, Wilson was a force on the back end of the defense. With a big frame and athleticism, Wilson projects to eventually be a contributor on defense, but coming from a Division II school, he will certainly need some time to develop on an NFL team.

#2 Dicaprio Bootle

College: Nebraska
Years Pro: 1 (24 years old)
Chance of Making the Roster: Practice squad candidate

A name that was floated around a lot during training camp a season ago was Dicaprio Bootle. While he did not start the season on the roster, he eventually carved out a special teams role. Now, he will have another opportunity to carve out a role for himself in camp. While there is stiffer competition this time around, Bootle plays hard and could turn some heads again this year.

#34 Brandin Dandridge

College: Missouri Western=
Years Pro: 1 (25 years old)
Chance of Making the Roster: Low

Brandin Dandrige is a versatile option on the back end of any defense. Last season, Dadrige spent time in the Canadian Football League. The former Missouri Western star shined in a workout for the Chiefs. It seems unlikely that he holds a roster spot, but he will certainly be an intriguing player to watch.
