#47 Darius Harris

College: Middle Tennessee
Years Pro: 3 (26 years old)
Chance of Making the Roster: On the bubble

Darius Harris is entering his third year with the Chiefs. Appearing in seven games last season, Harris recorded just one tackle. He will be a contributor on special teams if he can secure a roster spot for the third straight season. While Harris is not a flashy player that has a role on defense, Dave Toub seems to have a liking for his ability. When Toub likes your ability, it gives you a higher chance of making the roster.

#48 Mike Rose

College: Iowa State
Years Pro: Rookie (22 years old)
Chance of Making the Roster: Practice squad candidate

One of the most sought-after undrafted free agents was Mike Rose. Rose decided to sign with Kansas City after a stellar career with the Iowa State Cyclones. While the Big 12 is not known for having great defenses, Rose was a force for the Cyclones during all four years of his eligibility. With great quickness at the line, Rose is able to accelerate and make plays against the run. While he is not perfect or polished, Rose seems like the kind of player that Dave Toub will like and one that could fill a role for the defense. It may not be this year, but Rose will likely earn a spot on this roster.

#43 Jack Cochrane

College: South Dakota
Years Pro: Rookie
Chance of Making the Roster: Practice Squad Candidate

Jack Cochrane is certainly a lottery ticket. With excellent burst and quickness, Cochrane looks the part of an NFL linebacker. The Chiefs were wise to take a chance on him after he went undrafted because of the success he had at South Dakota. As a technically sound and athletic player, he gives himself an outside shot at making the roster. Who knows? Maybe he finds himself a role this season.
