Special Teams (3)

  1. Harrison Butker
  2. Tommy Townsend
  3. James Winchester

I don’t think I need to justify these special teams picks. Unless I missed something, the Chiefs didn’t really bring anyone in to compete for these spots.

Closing Thoughts

Overall I really like how the Chiefs roster is looking. That having been said, the defensive line is still the spot where I don’t feel comfortable. Hopefully, the Chiefs add a veteran up front there soon. If you were counting, I did have the offense at 26 players as opposed to 24 players on defense and that’s with the Chiefs only keeping five receivers. That’s not unheard of, but it certainly wouldn’t shock me if it ended up being an even 25/25 split.

In terms of the spots where it is hardest to predict, the final wide receiver spot (or two depending on if they keep five or six) is going to be a battle and the defensive back bench spots are going to be really competitive as well.

So what do you think Chiefs fans? Do you like this 53-man roster prediction? Are there any positions you think I got really wrong? Any players you are confident that will make this team that I didn’t have making it? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comments below.
