29. Green Bay Packers: Aaron Jones, RB, UTEP (Original Pick (By Cleveland): David Njoku, TE, Miami (FL))

David Njoku has been nothing but potential since he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns. He’s only managed 15 touchdowns and 1,754 receiving yards in his five years in Cleveland.

Another instance of a team re-drafting a player that they selected later in the draft. Aaron Jones made the 2020 Pro Bowl and co-led the NFL in rushing touchdowns in 2019.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kenny Golladay, WR, Northern Illinois (Original Pick: T.J. Watt, EDGE, Wisconsin)

Watt has been a home run of a 30th overall pick for the Steelers. He has 73.0 career sacks across the regular season and postseason and has been a Pro Bowler three times. He has also been named a first-team All-Pro three times and was the 2021 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Kenny Golladay has enjoyed a great career as a third-round pick. After enjoying back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2018 and 2019. He only managed 859 receiving yards and two touchdowns across 2020 and 2021 with the Lions and Giants. After Martavis Bryant’s season-long suspension in 2016, it would make sense for the Steelers to draft another wideout to go with Antonio Brown.

31. Atlanta Falcons: Shaquill Griffin, CB, UCF (Original Pick (By San Francisco): Rueben Foster, LB, Alabama)

Rueben Foster was viewed as one of the top prospects in the 2017 NFL Draft but fell all the way to 31 due to injuries and a failed drug test at the combine. After starting his career, Foster had domestic violence allegations and more injuries that derailed his career.

Shaq Griffin has enjoyed a really good NFL career for a third-round pick. For Seattle, he recorded six interceptions and 219 tackles.

32. New England Patriots: Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma (Original Pick: Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin)

Ryan Ramczyk is one of the best right tackles in the NFL. The Saints were correct in trading back up for him. He is a franchise right tackle and one of the reasons why the Saints’ OL has been so good the past several years.

The Patriots took Sony Michel in the first round of the 2018 draft so why not draft Joe Mixon 32nd in this re-draft? Joe Mixon had serious domestic violence issues prior to his draft but that didn’t stop the Bengals from taking him with the 48th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

What do you think of this re-draft? Who did I draft too low and who did I draft too high? Feel free to let me know in the comment section or on Twitter (@StrozinskyLucas).
