On the latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, we try gazing into the crystal ball to come up with a list of surprise cuts for the Kansas City Chiefs this summer.

In order to get ahead of the curve among the folks in Chiefs Kingdom, this episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast—featuring hosts Matt Conner and Sterling Holmes—features our best/worst attempts to predict which roster cuts might surprise folks once they’re due at the end of August.

Yes, it’s a long way until the regular season at this point, but it’s less than a month until training camp opens and things happen quickly in the National Football League. Let’s not forget that roster cuts are staggered these days, which means that the Chiefs (and every other NFL franchise) will go from 90 players to 85 to 80 and then down to 53 in short order.

On this episode, we also look at a Kansas City secondary that’s getting a lot of respect for a unit that hasn’t played together, the lack of any noise from either side of the negotiations when it comes to Orlando Brown Jr., and the character displayed by Alex Smith through yet another horrible tragedy.
