Chiefs podcast: Western Michigan head coach Tim Lester on Skyy Moore
By Matt Conner
On the latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, Western Michigan head coach Tim Lester discusses the pro potential of Skyy Moore and Mike Caliendo.
The Kansas City Chiefs are just beginning their single mandatory minicamp on Tuesday, which means every player must show up to Arrowhead from the 90-man roster or he must have an excuse for missing time. That means this week will likely feature more observations and news than any other until training camp knowing there’s a burst of activity before the biggest break of the summer.
That’s good news for us here at Arrowhead Addict in terms of podcast content. On the latest episode, Sterling Holmes and Matt Conner discuss who is missing from the first day of OTAs and what it might mean. We also look at the most recent roster re-signing of running back Jerick McKinnon, the absence of Orlando Brown Jr. from the activity at Arrowhead, and what to make of Juan Thornhill’s preseason confidence.
In addition, we’re thrilled to be joined by Western Michigan head football coach Tim Lester, who sent two players to the Chiefs this spring in second-round pick wide receiver Skyy Moore and undrafted free agent offensive lineman Mike Caliendo. Coach Lester gave us some great insight into the team’s rookies and specifically what differentiates Moore from other young prospects.
