On this episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, Sterling Holmes and Matt Conner celebrate Draftsmas Eve with a final preview of the draft.

It’s here. It’s finally here. The 2022 NFL Draft is upon us in just a matter of hours, really, and after a long offseason of waiting and simulating and mocking and hoping, the three-day event is finally here, which means the Kansas City Chiefs roster is about to be seriously transformed.

Chiefs general manager Brett Veach has a total of 12 picks to use at his disposal with only one full day remaining before the draft. While no one believes he will use all 12 at their respective positions at the present, it is interesting that the Chiefs have held onto so much draft capital—even continuing into next year—without swinging a deal for a veteran player who would help shore up the roster’s soft spots.

On this episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, hosts Matt Conner and Sterling Holmes give their last-minute draft opinions heading into Draftsmas. What would be the best presents to get Patrick Mahomes this Draftsmas? What would be the best use of two first-round picks? Which presents would we want to take back immediately?

The Chiefs are likely to come away with significant help at multiple positions of need—from defensive end to offensive tackle and wide receiver to cornerback—but just what will happen and when remains a big mystery. It’s the reason we all love the draft so much and why it’s such a popular talking point. Happy Draftsmas Eve!
