In the latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, we discuss the latest rumors surrounding Deebo Samuel and the upcoming draft.

This is typically a very busy time of year for Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach, but the 2022 offseason has taken things to whole new levels. As free agency settles into the long spring and summer months ahead, Veach still has a ton of roster construction ahead of him for the Chiefs on both sides of the ball—thanks to an overall haul of 12 draft picks to use as he sees fit next week.

On top of the 2022 NFL Draft and the fact that Kansas City has as many picks as anyone else, the Chiefs are also among the favorites to land San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel in a trade. In recent days, the first-team All-Pro reportedly asked the Niners to trade him and now a new sort of sweepstakes is on.

This means we have a lot to discuss on the latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast. Matt Verderame, FanSided’s NFL insider, returns for his first episode in a bit after some paternity leave (congrats!) and joins Patrick Allen to discuss the latest rumors and whether or not a trade for Samuel really makes sense for the Chiefs.
