The Kansas City Chiefs, in a shocking move earlier this season, traded star wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins for a lot of new draft capital. The Chiefs now have 12 draft picks, at the present time, to use as they wish, which begs the question, could the Chiefs move up? If so, for who?

The Chiefs seem to be resetting the expectations for next season. Whether the Chiefs are going for a retooling or a full-on rebuild of the roster is up for debate.

The Chiefs, however, have made it clear that they are going to be changing the culture of the team. Tyreek Hill has now been traded for the 29th overall pick, 50th overall pick, and either pick 121 or 125 in this year’s draft (Next year they also get a 4th and a 6th). Needless to say, the Chiefs will have some decisions to make going forward.

Perhaps the plan is that the Chiefs will load up on new talent in the draft and keep all of their picks. Or, perhaps they will try to move up and take a top 10 to 15 player in the draft class. If they choose the latter, there are a number of names that they will likely consider.

The question will be, what will the Chiefs deem as the most important position to upgrade. Whether it’s wide receiver, EDGE, cornerback, or safety, the Chiefs will have plenty of options in this year’s draft. Here are the guys the Chiefs could target if they choose to move up.
