In the most shocking news of the offseason for Chiefs Kingdom, the Kansas City Chiefs appear willing and even ready to trade offensive superstar Tyreek Hill in a deal that would have seismic ramifications on several levels for multiple teams.
Reports are emerging (with new information constantly being added) that the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are both already interested with offers put together for the Chiefs in case they decide to say yes to any deal for Hill, who is the team’s greatest wide receiver in franchise history.
Hill and the Chiefs have been working on a long-term contract extension this offseason as Hill heads into his contract year. Early reports were good that a deal would be reached soon, but the market exploded this offseason with new wideout deals for Christian Kirk and Davante Adams and things have hit a roadblock in the interim.
So far, rumors say that Hill is in control here as to whether he wants to return to the Chiefs maybe for the financial package that is not quite to his liking or find the most money he can on the open market from a team that has not been a contender.

Hill needs no introduction as the single-season franchise leader in receiving yards with 1,479 back in 2018. Hill has been named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first six NFL seasons and he’s the single greatest deep threat in the league. Not only that, however, but he has developed his game in such a way as to enter the conversation for the league’s best wide receivers overall.
The Chiefs offense without Hill would take a serious blow, although anything Hill would bring in return for a trade would have to include a king’s ransom. We’ll keep you posted here with further details on what we know about Hill and further trade rumors.
