The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly exploring a potential trade for Tyreek Hill and Twitter is as chaotic as you might expect it to be.

In case you’ve missed all the rage of the last few hours on NFL Twitter, the Kansas City Chiefs are flirting with the idea of trading away Tyreek Hill, the single greatest offensive weapon in the game of football, and everyone is going bananas—as they should.

The Chiefs and Hill have been working on a long-term extension that has hit the roadblock now labeled as “paying Tyreek what he is worth”. For a cash-strapped franchise, paying Hill such an exorbitant amount as the market will demand is apparently too much and teams are now lining up for the opportunity to employ Hill even as the Chiefs are backing off of the idea.

At present, it looks as if the Miami Dolphins or New York Jets might serve as the next home for Hill, but that’s up to the receiver himself as to whether or not he wants to chase the money or remain in Kansas City.

For now, all we know is that there’s a very real chance Hill is out the door unexpectedly in an offseason in which every contender fighting the Chiefs has reloaded on a level not previously seen. The AFC is going to be a gauntlet next season already and that’s even with the team’s best pass catcher in history.

If you are yelling at the wall, scratching your head, or sitting dejectedly in the dark, you are not alone. Twitter is right there with you. See the following.
