Following the NFL combine, we’ve gotten a little bit better of an idea of wide receiver prospects and what they can do from a physical standpoint. For a lot of us, some prospects were able to confirm what we thought about them or shoot up boards and some disappointed or maybe slipped down a little in our rankings.

This year’s wide receiver class is filled with talent and athleticism and there will be a plethora of names in the first few rounds that the Kansas City Chiefs could potentially draft.

For the record, I would bet money the Chiefs draft a receiver with a top-100 pick. You may or may not agree with it but we know Brett Veach has promised to add weapons around Mahomes and he’s held himself back from doing so the last couple of years. According to Nate Taylor of the Athletic, the Chiefs would really like to draft a receiver as said on 610 Sports Radio’s “The Drive”.

Furthermore, the Chiefs have already reportedly met with Georgia wide receiver George Pickens. The writing is on the wall. The Chiefs want to stack up on offense. No one should be surprised if they also sign a veteran and draft a guy to eventually take over the reins as Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill get older.

That said, there are a handful of future draftees that would be really good fits with the Chiefs so let’s take a closer look at some of them and what they can bring to the table.
