The 2022 NFL Combine will get underway this coming week from Indianapolis, beginning on Monday with the arrival and registration of the first round of offensive players, but the parade of 2022 NFL Draft prospects is not the only thing going on this week that should be of interest to fans of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The NFL Combine is also a prime time to hear from numerous NFL general managers and head coaches, and many teams will be well represented with short media sessions as employees make themselves available to the press for comments and questions. This year, the Chiefs will offer up both head coach Andy Reid and general manager Brett Veach to the media as they have in most recent seasons.

On Tuesday, Reid will the first to speak to the media during an early afternoon session at 12:30 p.m. C.T.. Veach will follow suit immediately after Reid at 12:45 p.m. While the sessions should be popular with reporters, there are a few other NFL coaches and GMs speaking at the exact same time in a sort of media blitz.

Both Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and general manager Brett Veach are set to speak to the media on Tuesday from the NFL Combine.

By way of comparison, the New England Patriots won’t have a single executive or coach available to speak to reporters during the week-long pre-draft event.

As for what to expect, the media session will likely feature opportunities for the Chiefs to comment on the return of Eric Bieniemy to the team, the reunion with Matt Nagy to the team’s coaching staff, the release of Anthony Hitchens, and the status of any looming extension with left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. and/or safety Tyrann Mathieu.
