With as many as 25 players set for free agency next month for the Kansas City Chiefs, there are bound to be players who fit into various categories. For some, they will be missed. Others not so much. ‘Tis the nature of the game.

Some of the players who leave the Chiefs this offseason will be finished with the game entirely, walking away on their own or they will find the game tells them the harsh truth as franchises fail to return calls from their reps in the hopes of extending their careers another season. However, the Chiefs are also going to watch some free agents leave this offseason who have plenty left to offer another team.

For our purposes, we already know that Tyrann Mathieu and Orlando Brown Jr. have a lot left to offer a team like the Chiefs and it’s the reason the team is hoping to re-sign both. But what about other players who seem destined to leave? How much is left for some of them? And who will likely be happy with the Chiefs’ decision to let them go?

We surveyed the list of free agents to find which ones will likely still be a force in the league in 2022 and beyond and who might benefit.
