CHIEFS VS BILLS, DIVISIONAL ROUND

This game will be remembered for a long, long time and for a very good reason: it was, quite simply, one of the greatest games of football of all time.

Two of the AFC’s heavyweights, the Bills and the Chiefs, went head-to-head in the divisional round, slugging it out in a game that will forever be immortalized in Chiefs Kingdom. It was a tight contest all the way through. Both Mahomes and Josh Allen played near-perfect games, as two of the league’s best quarterbacks went toe-to-toe.

Halfway through the fourth quarter, the Chiefs were leading 26-21. At that point the game had already been a showcase of playoff football worthy of remembering But the final two minutes, and one of the most stunning comebacks we have ever seen, elevated it to all-time great status.

It was truly a roller coaster of emotions. The Chiefs blew the lead, only for a 64-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill to snatch it right back. But then again, Kansas City let the lead slip through their fingers. And then, the final comeback. With just 13 seconds left, two plays for 44 yards set up one of the most unlikely game-tying field goals ever.

Kansas City would win the toss in overtime and march down the field to score the game winning touchdown and send Chiefs fans everywhere into raptures. It was an incredible game. The Chiefs looked dead and buried, but somehow—somehow—they were able to claw back with almost no time left on the clock and win one of the best games of football ever seen.

Regardless of what happened against the Bengals a week later, this game will always be memorable, and it should always be a joy for Chiefs fans to relive.
