3. Ja’Marr Chase – Receiving Yards (85.5)

If you’re screaming at the screen right now with the belief that the Chiefs simply have to approach Ja’Marr Chase differently than they did the last time out, I would not disagree with you. In case you forgot, Chase set the record for the most receiving yards ever put up against the Chiefs in their history going all the way back to the AFL—and he did it a few weeks ago.

You have to be sure Steve Spagnuolo is not going to allow Chase to ring up 266 yards like he did in Week 17, but in a way, Chase is going to make his demands either way. And even if he’s able to eclipse 100 yards, that’s a steep fall from last time.

It’s quite hard to keep Chase from earning his yards, and he’s such a trusted target by Joe Burrow that it’s hard to believe the Cincy quarterback will go away from him even if he’s covered. The truth is that it’s impossible to cover Chase one on one for any length of time, so even Burrow forces things, which he should against a tough pass rush, Chase will get his yards even if they won’t likely get the win.
