3. Mecole Hardman – Receiving Yards (32.5)

Coming into this season, Chiefs Kingdom was hoping to see Mecole Hardman take his game to the next level. In the wake of an offseason in which the Chiefs failed to bring in a significant import at wide receiver, Hardman felt like the best be to elevate his game on the roster and provide a lift.

That promise was set aside when the team signed Josh Gordon. Perhaps Gordon would step up and be the third primary receiving option to make up for the exit of Sammy Watkins. When that didn’t materialize, however, Hardman began to make his claim on those reps.

The Chiefs have been enjoying nice performances from secondary targets like Byron Pringle, Demarcus Robinson, and a host of running backs throughout the year, but Hardman, in particular, has been a trusted asset for the last few weeks. He had his first 100-yard game against the Broncos in Week 18, and he followed that up by catching all four of his targets and providing productive punt returns last week.

This feels like an easy over knowing that Hardman is playing as well as ever.
