The offense is battered going forward

Going forward, all eyes will be on the Chiefs offense and specifically who will be available when the team has to suit up to play next. Every opponent is going to be tough from here on out, and the Chiefs will want to bring all their cards to the table. Unfortunately, scrapping for a tough win on Saturday left them hurting on the offensive side, especially.

We already discussed Tyreek Hill’s heel issue and how that limited him on Saturday. However, he wasn’t the only one who came away injured. Wide receiver Byron Pringle was also forced to leave the game with some sort of injury. Running back Darrel Williams was officially taken out and listed as questionable with a toe injury. Then just after making a huge catch in the fourth quarter to close out the victory, Travis Kelce was limping after suffering a “tweak” to his hip.

When combined with running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s ongoing shoulder concern that kept him out completely, it becomes a real issue for the Chiefs who now look very thin at both halfback and wide receiver. The Chiefs weren’t overly talented at the latter already coming into the season, which means the Chiefs might need someone to step up in ways they haven’t yet.
