Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase

While I 100% believe the Chiefs could have won that game if they just did a few things better/different, there is no denying the outstanding play of Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase in this game. While the Chiefs did some things that caused them to lose, those two did as much or more to make sure that the Bengals won. Ja’Marr Chase in particular was out of this world. I don’t remember the last time I saw a receiver with that dominant of game.

While Chase is the guy that stands out the most, you also have to give Burrow his due. He consistently stood up to the pressure and put the ball right where Chase could go get it. He didn’t bat an eye in what was by far the biggest game of his young NFL career. This is a duo that the Chiefs are going to have to get used to dealing with in the AFC for years to come.

So what do you think Chiefs fans? Do you agree with all the different places where I placed the blame for this loss? Do you think I overlooked anything or let anyone off the hook? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comments below. Here’s to hoping that these things are better next week against the Denver Broncos and that just maybe the Houston Texans can pull off a big upset.
