The Arrowhead Addict post-game show set a few benchmarks last night during an emotional and hilarious live stream during the Thursday Night Football showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.

Featuring our friends Matt Verderame, Patrick Allen, and Sterling Holmes, the stream was our first attempt for a live watch party during a Chiefs game. Our YouTube Channel also rolled out memberships that feature some sweet benefits. But beyond that, we were most surprised and thrilled to be joined by one of our favorite players, Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones.

Jones was available to hang for a short stretch because he’d missed the game on the team’s COVID reserve list. Jones was clearly missed in the heart of the defense, along with linebacker Willie Gay Jr. and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, but the rest of the defense stepped up in a big way against one of the league’s best offenses to get the job done in a thrilling overtime win for K.C.

Shortly after the game was officially over, Jones joined the stream to weigh in from his phone. It was the perfect way to close out the night to hear from Jones who told us he’s feeling better. He also said he wasn’t worried about the game’s outcome despite how close it was and how much it would mean in the standings.

When asked if he was worried, Jones simply said, “Not at all. We got Pat Mahomes. We got Travis Kelce. We got Tyreek Hill. We got Tyreek Hill. We got Jarran Reed, We got Andy Reid. We got the Reid brothers… so it’s all good.”
