7. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are the fourth team already that are sitting at 7-6 entering the home stretch of the season. The Colts’ defense is good when they get decent coverage play on the outside. They also have arguably the best rushing attack in all of football. I went back and forth with them and the Browns on who to rank higher. I ended up going with the Colts, but it’s a coin flip in my opinion. Both teams have great rushing attacks and solid defenses, but I have questions about their passing game. The Colts do have some hard games coming up.

  • vs New England Patriots
  • at Arizona Cardinals
  • vs Las Vegas Raiders
  • at Jacksonville Jaguars

The next two games are season-defining for the Colts. I think they’ll win their final two games without too much of a problem. So they need to find a way to either beat the Patriots in Indy or go on the road and beat the Cardinals. If they can do that they probably secure their spot in the playoffs.

Next up, a team that looked like they’d be at the top of this list earlier this season.
