1. Kansas City Chiefs

Some may say that it’s favoritism to have the Kansas City Chiefs at the top of the AFC Power Rankings on a Chiefs’ blog, but I really think that it is warranted. The Chiefs are tied with the Patriots and Titans for the best record in the AFC at 9-4. The Chiefs defense is now playing lights out and despite some struggles this season, the offense still boasts Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce. Their remaining schedule isn’t easy, but it isn’t the hardest on this list either.

  • vs Pittsburgh Steelers
  • at Cincinnati Bengals
  • at Denver Broncos

I believe that this Thursday’s game with the Chargers is HUGE for the Chiefs. A win basically secures the division for the Chiefs and puts them in a great position to compete for the top seed in the AFC and the coveted first-round bye. It’s far from a safe bet, but I like the Chiefs’ odds as much or better than every other team on this list.

So what do you think Chiefs fans? Do you agree with these rankings? Are there any teams you think are way too high or way too low? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
