Apparently, when you’re part of a powerhouse defense that’s already put away a division rival by nearly 40 points, the only thing left to do is to work on some of your few weaknesses on the sideline. Perhaps that’s why we saw Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark practicing kicking field goals on the sideline of the second half of the team’s win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

The Chiefs hosted the Raiders on Sunday afternoon in Week 14 in a game that was Las Vegas’s last real effort at making a push in the AFC West. With a win at Arrowhead Stadium, they would keep their hopes for a division title alive and make it a tight race. Alas, it didn’t quite work out that way.

From the opening salvo, the Chiefs were in full control with a forced fumble and recovery for a return that went for the game’s first touchdown. From there, the Chiefs defense would dominate Derek Carr to the tune of 4 sacks and nearly a dozen hits.

Frank Clark decided to work on his field goal skills during Chiefs vs. Raiders.

Clark was a big part of the defensive story on Sunday in the Chiefs 48-9 win—the single greatest deficit for a Chiefs win in the entire history of the rivalry. He had four of those hits, more than any other player. With the game clearly put away, Clark then decided to work on some other skills on the sideline:

For those fans who caught the act on the sideline, it’s a fun look at Clark’s personality and a rare sight during such a blowout. The Chiefs have been all business this year due to close games and an early-season slide but their defense is playing lights out

We’re not sure just how to judge Clark’s form here, but we’re pretty sure the Chiefs would have other go-to options in case something ever happened to Harrison Butker. That said, the Chiefs prize versatility at almost every position so if Clark can add some special teams value, we’re here for it.
