Pringle is getting the love

When it comes to skill position players, the snap counts show clearly who the team’s offensive pillars are. Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce both remain atop snap counts week after week, as they should, but from there, Chiefs Kingdom has watched Mecole Hardman, Josh Gordon, and Demarcus Robinson fluctuate in the number of reps they’ve earned.

This week, Byron Pringle was the man of the hour with 41 snaps (72 percent) of the offensive load. By contrast, he had one more snap than Hardman and D-Rob combined (the latter of whom was in on a surprising 54 percent of snaps). Pringle had some drops that were frustrating, but he also showed his clear value on both offense and special teams. (By the way, can we appreciate the tremendous effort on this play one more time that led to a muffed punt and key play for the Chiefs?)

The Chiefs need someone to emerge down the stretch and maybe Pringle can be that man.
