KC Chiefs vs Broncos: Top prop bets to make for NFL Week 13
By Matt Conner
2. Javonte Williams – Rushing Yards (75.5)
Even in a limited role this year, without a single “start” to his name, Williams has carved out a nice average of nearly 70 yards/scrimmage per game so far in his rookie campaign as Melvin Gordon’s running mate. This week, Gordon has been declared out which means the Chiefs are going to see a lot of Williams all day long. That should equal a breakout game of sorts for the second round pick.
Williams has already put up a nice 4.9 yards/carry average for Denver so far this season, so putting up a modest gain from his weekly average of 51 rushing yards doesn’t seem like a big issue.
For those looking at the Chiefs defensive totals this season, it’s hard to find many running backs who’ve had a field day against K.C. this year—including the likes of Derrick Henry—and if the Chiefs get up early, then the Broncos might be forced to match the momentum in the passing game. But the yardage total here is still modest enough to take the over.
Pick: Over (-115)
