#3 Chris Jones

The motor of the Chiefs defense, Jones was dealing with an injury for much of the first quarter of the season. However, Jones has been on the way back to being 100% and has seen 60% or more defensive snaps in every game during the month of November. Coincidentally, as Jones found snap consistency, the Chiefs defense found consistency as well.

Of course, it needs to be mentioned that Jones not only saw more snaps throughout these past 4 weeks but also saw more snaps at his true position, defensive tackle. With 3.5 sacks in Week 11, Jones is now on track for double-digit sacks and he continues to be a force on the defensive side of the ball.

Even if Jones isn’t racking up stats in the tackles and sacks department, his mere presence along the defensive front opens up blitz lanes for linebackers and allows guys like Frank Clark, Jarran Reed, and Melvin Ingram to take on single blockers.

An All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection last year, Jones continues to shine and prove himself as one of the best interior d-linemen in the entire NFL. We should all be betting on CJ to be in consideration for the Pro Bowl, if not a Pro Bowl lock, for years to come.
