3. Byron Pringle– Receiving Yards (20.5)

If it wasn’t for last week’s anemic total of 1 catch for 12 yards, this number would likely be quite a bit higher for Pringle in terms of expected yards. Against the New York Giants, the Chiefs didn’t look Pringle’s way all that much despite playing more snaps than ever before. But we still believe that’s a sign of the team’s trust in him to play well, and in the two games prior to that, it looked as if Mahomes himself was learning to lean on Pringle more with each passing game.

Here’s the thing, while the Chiefs wait to see if Josh Gordon can emerge as a tertiary receiver, the truth is that Pringle might be the best bet to occupy that role most weeks. He had 5 catches for 73 yards in the previous game and 3 catches for 55 yards the week before that. Given this low threshold of 20.5 yards, all that he really needs is a single catch down the field in order to break through here. Trust him the get the snaps it takes to eventually beat this mark.
