AFC West report: It’s been a rough week for everyone

Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers (and specifically Justin Herbert) have struggled of late. After a humiliating loss to the Baltimore Ravens before hitting their bye, I thought they might come back out with newfound momentum. Instead, the Chargers and Herbert were confused by one of the greatest coaches of all time, losing to the Patriots. A rough week for the Chargers as they were the only AFC West team to lose. Don’t get me wrong, the loss was a close one, but it was still a loss.
What sealed it was a terrible interception thrown by Herbert:
Bill Belichick has a way of confusing young quarterbacks and Sunday was no exception. Regardless, this hurts the Chargers who had an opportunity to make a statement amidst a wide-open AFC. Now, the Chargers are going to struggle to fight for the top seed in the AFC.
The Chargers have a chance to get right on Sunday when they take on the struggling Eagles. The Eagles seem to be one of the league’s punching bags this season and probably are looking at another loss as they take on the Chargers.
