Denver Broncos

Oh, the Broncos. My prediction was right. The Broncos are just not a good team. Even without a head coach, the Raiders thumped them. You can blame it on injuries, but the reality is that the team has serious issues up and down the roster. Not only that, but the head coach is just not good. Vic Fangio is not going to get the Broncos to the promised land and neither will their current roster of quarterbacks. It still shocks me that the Broncos passed on Justin Fields thinking that Teddy Bridgewater was the answer.

Bridgewater continues to be an average quarterback, but he is not the solution. Couple that with injuries and the Broncos were bound to drop to any opponent that could put a half-decent team on the field.

The Broncos, this week, decided to distract everyone from their terrible football with a Twitter fight between Shannon Sharpe and DK Metcalf by stepping in and letting DK see Sharpe’s resume:

To see the full Twitter beef, start here:

While the Broncos continue to deal with injuries on the offense, they are now facing injuries on the defense. With a short week, it’s not a good look for the Broncos. Linebacker Baron Browning was ruled out after suffering a concussion against the Raiders. Linebackers Andre Mintze (hamstring) and Alexander Johnson (chest) were also ruled out. Heading into a short week, the injury report for both the Broncos and the Browns is lengthy:

With both quarterbacks limited, this game is truly one that I don’t know what will happen. Baker Mayfield is significantly injured and both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are out, not to mention Odell Beckham Jr. With that many injuries, this game is really going to be something isn’t it? I guess we will see come Thursday night…
