The offense will get back on track (and start to put teams away)

After facing one of the toughest schedules in terms of opposing defense, the Chiefs, over the last 12 games of the season will face opposing defenses ranked 21st in DVOA. DVOA measures a team’s efficiency by comparing success on every single play to a league average based on situation and opponent. Even without the advent of the DVOA statistic, the eye test proves the Chiefs offense is going to face much easier defensive opponents over the rest of the season. With games against the Steelers, Giants, Titans, WFT, and the Cowboys, the Chiefs face defenses in the bottom half of the league in terms of passing yards allowed and bodes even better with all of those teams ranked in the bottom 10 in terms of passing touchdowns allowed.
