Chiefs fan melts down, throws beer on people, face-plants, gets kicked out

The Kansas City Chiefs had a bad night on Sunday, losing to the Buffalo Bills in a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game. K.C. was super disjointed on both sides of the ball. The defense couldn’t stop Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes was uncharacteristically out of synch, turning the ball over multiple times. To top it all off, there was an extended weather delay at halftime, leaving some Chiefs fans not only annoyed and wet but also potentially a little inebriated.

At halftime, during the lightning delay, most of the fans in attendance made for the concourse to dry off and get out of the elements.  One fan, however, saw an opportunity. Rather than lower his risk of getting struck by lightning, he began methodically walking through section 308 of the stadium,

collecting

stealing people’s Chiefs souvenir beer cups. Remember, this was during the delay so presumably, the fans to which these cups/beers belonged would eventually be coming back to their seats.

Some fellow fans noticed what the cup collector was doing and started filming him. They called him out on his behavior and that is when things got weird. Twitter user @goodforanother sent Arrowhead Addict the video they took:

You gotta ask yourself what people are thinking when they go to sporting events sometimes. When this guy was throwing on his poncho Sunday evening, do you think he was saying to himself “tonight is the night I go to Arrowhead Stadium, throw beer on people, face-plant on the seats, and get tossed out?”

I mean, look at this guy yelling at one of the stadium attendants who he just throw a cup of beer at.

I don’t know what these ushers, security, and attendants that work at Arrowhead get paid but it ain’t enough to deal with this kind of crap.

I guess if there is a silver lining in this situation it is that “Chiefs Gandalf” likely got the boot from the stadium and didn’t have to watch the second half of the game.

The downside, of course, is that if he didn’t get thrown out, he probably won’t ever be allowed back.

Honestly, the entire video pretty much plays out like the game did for the Chiefs. Things weren’t normal early and it only got worse from there, right up until the face-plant into the seats in the fourth quarter.

Hopefully “Chiefs Gandalf” was able to get an Uber back to The Shire if he didn’t end up in county lockup.
