The Chiefs, thankfully, have a better schedule the rest of the way than they had during the first 5 weeks. With games against Washington, New England, Pittsburgh, NYG, and Cincinnati the Chiefs have a real opportunity to still win their division. With 5 of their last 12 games against division opponents, the Chiefs have a real shot to create their own destiny.

The Chief’s opponents through five weeks (not considering the Ravens Monday Night game) have a 16-8 record, winning at a 67% clip, while the teams the Chiefs have yet to play have a 25-20 record through 5 weeks, winning 56% of the time. As has been true for weeks, the table is set for an early-season turnaround. Time will tell if this team is capable of making the kind adjustments that fans have been clamoring about for weeks, as well adjustments that will keep them in ball games.
