Looking at the matchup, it’s understandable if some Kansas City Chiefs fans are nervous about facing the Buffalo Bills in Week 5.

The Bills offense is already a known commodity as Josh Allen occupies a spot on the tier immediately below Patrick Mahomes in terms of quarterback rankings, while Stefon Diggs is one of the game’s greatest pass catchers. Zack Moss and Devin Singletary are a solid backfield combo, and Cole Beasley and Emmanuel Sanders are savvy vets who know how to move the chains as well.

The Bills also have a strong defense this year with two shutouts in four games. Rookie pass rusher Gregory Rousseau looks the part as a potential star on the edge, giving the Bills a dimension they’ve been lacking in recent seasons. With other playmakers like Tre’Davious White and Tremaine Edmunds, the Bills have Pro Bowl talent at every level of their defense.

Coming into Arrowhead, the Bills are looking to heal from some wounds last season, including the postseason loss that sent them home last January in the AFC Championship game. They know what they’re getting into this time around and should have a game plan for this very moment.

That said, the Chiefs are also in an interesting position themselves and know there’s a lot at stake in a game like this one. Instead of worrying, the Chiefs actually have more reasons to be confident moving forward. If you’re feeling a bit questionable about Sunday’s showdown, here are some things to think on.
