Are the Kansas City Chiefs going to make a move to help out the team before the NFL’s trade deadline?

No one should doubt the Chiefs commitment to winning this year, but right now, the Chiefs have some troubled spots at places where some offseason moves or young faces aren’t making the sort of impact as hoped. So what should general manager Brett Veach do? How quickly should be respond to a perceived concern just because fans are yelling? And how much patience should be exhibit instead?

The NFL’s trade deadline is not until early November so Veach has time to still look out over roster and make changes if he wants. But he also might want to simply be patient and let the players grow that he’s got. The secondary looks thing and undisciplined, but that’s what happens when your oldest guy is Charvarius Ward at 25. Jarran Reed is adjusting to a new scheme up front with Brendan Daly while Chris Jones is outside for the first time.

You get the picture.

In the interest of throwing out some deals, however, since we love a good trade, we thought we’d toss out a couple ideas, one to net a player for the Chiefs and one to see if the Chiefs could bring in a draft asset or two. Let us know what you think in the comments.
