It’s been an emotional week for Chiefs Kingdom and that goes well beyond the most recent loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Yes, we’re frustrated by the fact that Kansas City has lost two games in a row. No, the division basement doesn’t feel good. But we’ve also been much more concerned with the health of head coach Andy Reid, and then there’s the signing of wide receiver Josh Gordon on top of it all.

On this latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, we’ve got a sweet and short little number featuring hosts Sterling Holmes and Matt Conner taking a closer look at these extra emotional elements this week.

When Big Red was taken by ambulance to the hospital out of precaution, it immediately put the results of the Chiefs-Chargers game into perspective and made us hold out hope and offer up prayers for a beloved figure to everyone in Chiefs Kingdom and well beyond.

As for Gordon. the ensuing debate about whether or not he is going to be a solid investment has taken over any leftover bandwidth. Fortunately we’re here to help smooth out the wrinkles in your argument if you think Gordon is not important. Brett Veach has been shopping for a wide receiver for months and months now and there are good reasons to believe he finally found what he was looking for in the reinstated Gordon.
