If you’re looking for signs that things are getting ugly for K.C. Chiefs fans, just look at the way some of them were turning on each other at Arrowhead Stadium during the team’s 30-24 loss to the L.A. Chargers on Sunday.

As if Week 3 wasn’t already an emotional letdown, it’s even more disheartening to see how fans were participating in an all-out brawl in the stands at Arrowhead. From the looks of it, it wasn’t Chargers fans inciting something against the home crowd. Instead, it was just Chiefs Kingdom vs. Chiefs Kingdom in some sort of fight for reasons unknown to us at the present time.

If you missed the footage, you can see some of it below:

For a bit more perspective, you can check out the video below which provides a zoomed out view.

In some ways, we get it. We were all frustrated on Sunday watching the Chiefs turn the ball over again and again (and again and again). The game was theirs for the taking but it’s like they didn’t want it. Even at home against a division rival, the team laid an egg for the second straight week, and those who watched the Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns know that even their lone victory was a very close call.

In short, the Chiefs could easily be 0-3.

Still, there’s just no reason for this sort of behavior or even the likely words exchanged that led up to the embarrassing displays in the stands like this. These altercations are why some fans have decided it’s not worth going to live events anymore, especially families who have to consider the costs (and the actual costs are another subject entirely).

Next. Why the Chiefs will be all right. dark
