One week into the regular season, the stars on the K.C. Chiefs have already made their presence felt. Some have even made their absences felt. From the production of Tyreek Hill and Patrick Mahomes to the team clearly missing Frank Clark and Tyrann Mathieu, the Chiefs have several players whose impact is apparent—and that will continue to be the story going forward.

However, with one game in the books, it was interesting to see some players not get any real chance to show what they can do just yet. Given the looming figures, especially on offense, the Chiefs are never going to be able to give everyone a stage upon which they can also star. Demarcus Robinson is never going to average 100 yards receiving. Darrel Williams is never going to rush for 1,000 yards. You get the idea

Still we’re anxious to see a few guys get some meaningful playing time, procure a few targets for themselves, and in general, see what they add to the team. We thought we’d take a look at players we hope to see for the first time in Week 2—or at least sometime soon.
