Dan Sorensen

At this point it’s uncanny and even laughable how much Dirty Dan Sorensen seems to be around the ball when it matters the most. We’ve seen Sorensen do this for a long, long time now as a member of Chiefs Kingdom, and on Sunday, he added yet another highlight to his long list.

If you missed the action, the Browns had the ball late in the fourth quarter just like they’d wanted with little time on the clock. They were moving the chains enough to make Chiefs fans nervous, having just gotten their first lead of the entire game at 33-29, when Sorensen showed up to do exactly what he always does, providing the push on Mayfield in order to force the last-minute interception that sealed the game with Mike Hughes coming down with the football.

When the defense needed its biggest play, Sorensen was right there in the middle of it, wreaking the sort of timely havoc he’s done for years.
