New York Giants

It should be noted that the Giants have already brought Reiter in for a free agent visit in recent weeks, which means he’s on their radar. We’re just not sure why the Giants allowed him to leave without a contract offer.

The Giants had the NFL’s worst offensive line in 2020, per Pro Football Focus. This year, the Giants are rolling with four coaches devoted to improving the offensive line. (Yes, you read that right.)

Right now the Giants are going with Nick Gates once again after converting the former tackle to center for the first time ever in 2020. He’s bound to be better with a year of experience, but why not bring in another option ready-made to take over if needed (and to provide some competition)?

Reiter would not heal his line by himself, but the Giants are going to need to make multiple moves to see a significant leap forward in protecting Daniel Jones. Reiter’s experience and talent would help bolster the interior and fortify the line heading into another regular season.
