Hardman vs. Pringle for WR2

Mecole Hardman and Byron Pringle each had convincing performances against Arizona. Hardman finished the night with four catches for 39 yards and one touchdown, while Pringle caught four passes for 63 yards.

Hardman’s touchdown came on a 17-yard pass from Chad Henne. The ball was underthrown, but the third-year receiver made a great adjustment on the ball. Pringle was consistent during his time on the field, and his big play of the night came when Henne hit him in between three defenders for a 41-yard gain. Pringle also made a juggling catch on the sideline earlier in the game when Mahomes was on the field.

Demarcus Robinson was underwhelming again, catching two of six targets for 10 yards. Cornell Powell continues to play with the third-team offense. Powell caught his lone target of the night for six yards. Pringle and Hardman are the two frontrunners for the WR2 role.
