L’Jarius Sneed, CB

Although L’Jarius Sneed only saw six starts and nine appearances overall, he impressed a lot of people during his rookie season. He recorded three interceptions, seven pass deflections and two sacks. Sneed continued to stay busy in the playoffs as he came away with a sack against the Cleveland Browns in the divisional round and another sack in the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills.

Sneed is not on this list because he had a bad season on the field. Sneed was not able to showcase his full potential in a 16-game span due to a collarbone injury in Week 3 against the Ravens. After missing six games, Sneed came back strong and contributed in helping the secondary.

Sneed and Sorensen tied for second on the Chiefs with three interceptions while Tyrann Mathieu led the team with six picks. Mathieu was third in the NFL in interceptions in 2020 while the Chiefs were tied fifth in the NFL with Washington for most interceptions with 16.

If the Chiefs have a healthy secondary for 2021, there is a good chance the team could lead the league in interceptions with Sneed’s help.
