Andy Reid as Coach Beard

Tell me this: which Ted Lasso coach is going to step up to a mic and say “Time’s yours”? The answer is clearly Coach Beard.

Coach Beard is always calm, always collected, always ready for whatever comes his way. He’s a genius tactician. He does his talking on the field, and when he does say something, everyone listens.

For years, Andy Reid has proven to be impermeable to the questions and concerns that everyone has wanted to discuss around him. He was the only unflappable coach who could have handled Michael Vick‘s return. He never cared about the “couldn’t win the big game” label applied to him before winning Super Bowl 50. He knows what matters most and keeps his focus there.
