NFL news is typically enough to fill the 24/7 media demands for most of the year, but early summer is always tough as most players and league personnel take vacations before training camps around the country are set to open up later in July.

That said, this has been a very interesting time when it comes to wide receivers in the National Football League. For teams looking for some potential help at wideout, Josh Gordon officially applied for reinstatement after passing any and all drug tests for the last three months and sitting out the entire 2020 season. Over in New England, it looks as if former first-round pick N’Keal Harry has been buried on the depth chart. Consequently he’s asked for a trade.

What does any of this mean for the K.C. Chiefs? That’s the subject du jour on this latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast. Host Sterling Holmes is joined by AA contributor and podcast guest Jordan Mannix to discuss the Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers. Not only do they dive into the current crop of contenders seeking to impact the roster in Sammy Watkins’ absence, but they also analyze the free agent possibilities of Gordon and the trade request put in by Harry.

In addition to these subjects, Mannix and Holmes also discuss their favorite Boulevard beers, reflect back on the one-year anniversary of Patrick Mahomes’ monster contract signing, and debate whether or not Justin Houston or Melvin Ingram is their favorite veteran to potential add to the Chiefs pass rush.
