3. Denver Broncos

Projected WRs: Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, K.J. Hamler, Seth Williams

The Broncos have a very talented group of receivers with an extremely high ceiling. The only issue is that they have not had anyone show them consistency year in and year out. They are extremely young and could easily move up to number one on this list with a good season.

Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy are not the only two guys on the roster with an incredibly high ceiling.  KJ Hamler and Tim Patrick are both extremely talented in their own roles.

Sutton was coming off a Pro Bowl season in his second year in the league before tearing his ACL. At 6’4, 216, Sutton is a serious problem for cornerbacks. With quickness off the line of scrimmage, it is nearly impossible to restrict his massive catch radius. After one very good season, it is likely that Sutton will pick up where he left off, but it is not a guarantee. Luckily, he has Jeudy to pick up the slack.

Jeudy was tossed into a difficult situation when Sutton went down in Week 1. Not only was he expected to take over Sutton as the number one guy, he also had to quickly learn how to build chemistry with Drew Lock. Unfortunately for the Broncos, the duo never really got on the same page. Jeudy did post a respectable stat line in his rookie campaign, however, with 52 receptions for 856 yards.

Patrick was a player who turned some heads last season. With a similar skill set to that of Courtland Sutton, he fit naturally into one of the leading roles on offense and he made the most of his opportunity. Patrick came down with 6 touchdowns and went for 742 yards. He could be a lethal third option in 2021.

Both K.J. Hamler and Seth Williams offer high ceilings to the Denver receiving corp. Hamler is a tremendous deep threat, especially as your fourth option. The Broncos also seem to like Williams’ ability to make big plays and hope that he can expand his role in the offense and become more than a full-time special teamer.
