Week 11 – vs. Dallas Cowboys

Every Fourth of July, Americans gather together in groups large and small in order to take in the wonder of fireworks. It’s no surprise, then, that the NFL’s version of a majestic offensive display would also draw us en masse to see it for ourselves, a showdown between the Chiefs and the visiting Dallas Cowboys.

This matchup is going to feature a showdown of quarterbacks with an average annual salary of $85 million between them when considering their respective deals. There are good reasons for paying these two that much money, however. With Dak Prescott healthy again for the Cowboys, Dallas now hopes they can unleash the offensive firepower that should sweep the NFC East with relative ease considering the competition.

The Cowboys boast one of the most loaded room of pass catchers in the NFL with Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup. All three received 100 targets last year and each went for over 800 yards with Cooper leading the charge at 1,114. Lamb looks every bit like a game-breaking talent, but Gallup also knows there’s big money to be made if he can remain productive in this contract season. Of course, we also haven’t even discussed the presence of Zeke Elliott, who led the team with over 1,300 yards from scrimmage last season as well.

Together with the Chiefs own offensive display of Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and more, Prescott vs. Mahomes is going to be must-watch TV.
