The Kansas City Chiefs don’t have a first-round pick anymore due to the Orlando Brown trade but that doesn’t mean GM Brett Veach might not make a move back into the first round.

We are back here at the Arrowhead Addict podcast. In the latest episode of the show Patrick Allen (that’s me) and Matt Verderame take a look at the team’s current draft position. While the Chiefs don’t have a first-rounder, they do have two second-round picks. I asked Verderame if he thinks the team might package those picks to move up into the back of round one. Give the pod a listen to find out how he answered.

We also talked a bit more about the Orlando Brown trade. In particular, both of us think the Baltimore Ravens are absolutely insane for doing this deal.

Finally, we talk about a recent quote from Clyde Edwards-Helaire about his rookie season. In short, the Chiefs’ starting running back has a sour taste in his mouth following the team’s loss in the Super Bowl. Despite having a very successful rookie campaign, CEH sounds like a man on a mission in year two. If his attitude is any indication of how the rest of the team is approaching the 2021 season, the rest of the NFL had better buckle up.
