After months of mock exercises, pro days, player declarations, and swirling rumors, the 2021 NFL Draft is finally upon us. We’re only days away from meeting the latest rookie class for the K.C. Chiefs, but the team has already been making introductions in the days leading up to the big event with the initial presser for new offensive tackle Orlando Brown on Monday of draft week.

With the move to trade for Orlando Brown, the Chiefs lost their first-round pick but no one in Chiefs Kingdom is complaining given the need for someone to step in and the value received in return in the two-time Pro Bowler. Now the Chiefs enter draft week with six selections to utilize as they please, including two near the bottom of the second round that will be the first picks for the team over draft weekend. That could mean just sitting and waiting in the first round for quite some time.

On the latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, Sterling Holmes and Matt Conner give a preview of draft week with a few of their own draft crushes or hopes. We also play “what if” given the rumors that Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is on the trade block. In addition, we wrap up our thoughts on the Orlando Brown trade and prepare ourselves for the week ahead.
